HER+

Interested in obtaining cost-effective CO2 reductions by 2030 through innovative projects? The renewable energy transition (HER+) grant scheme aims to achieve energy transition targets more effectively by focusing primarily on renewable energy production, including renewable gas and hydrogen production. Additionally, projects involving other CO2-reducing techniques such as carbon capture and storage, H2 production, and electric boilers are eligible for the grant. We can help you set up your innovation project and apply for a HER+ grant.

Themes

  • The HER+ grant scheme focuses on the following themes:
  • Energy from water (hydropower, aquathermia, osmosis)
  • Solar energy
  • Wind energy, geothermal energy (soil)
  • Incineration and gasification of biomass
  • Fermentation of biomass

Objectives

HER+ (in Dutch: Hernieuwbare Energietransitie) aims to achieve cost-effective CO2 reductions by 2030 while also leading to savings on future expenditures on sustainable energy grants or greater cost benefits than the HER+ grant.

Details

HER+ is available to innovative businesses and research organisations partnering with at least one enterprise to submit a grant application. The partnership’s activities must benefit the Dutch economy or other Dutch interests. Additionally, the enterprise must have a permanent establishment or subsidiary in the Netherlands.
